PFI

Great weekend racing at PFI. Saturday practice went really well and we had the pace finishing every session in the top three. Qualifying not so good, we left it too late going out so only managed two laps and got stuck behind a slower driver which cost us dearly, finishing 10th!

Sunday came the rain for first practice, we went out on slicks and the heavens opened, no time to change tyres so we did a rolling lap and came in. H1 started 10th, gained some places before being hit from behind giving me a drop down and also broke my Nassau panel brackets and to add to my wows I then received a 5 second penalty for gaining an unfair advantage sending me to 16th. Heat two started 10th and finished 11th after losing my radiator due to the bracket snapping.

Final, started 14th and finished 6th. We were hoping for a top three really but didn’t have the luck. Special mention to my friend Owen Neave who had a massive crash destroying his kart but thankfully he is OK
