What an awesome weekend on and off track @claypigeonraceway for round 7. In true Clay ever changing weather condition style
Heat 1 10th to 6th Heat 2 1st to 4th - my first ever time starting pole on a rolling start , controlled pretty well but put myself in the wrong position for the 1st bend and lost 2 places but learnt from my mistake. Heat 3 11th to 3rd - the heavens opened whilst out on slicks causing really tricky conditions but managed to control my drive and pull away from the chasing drivers and catch the front runners.
Final 4th to 2nd - lost a couple of places at the start but desperately wanted a podium so drove my socks off pushing through the pack, had my eyes on Brendan James] in front of me in 3rd place he put up an awesome fight to keep me behind but I managed to get past and start chasing for Jack Price] in 2nd place again some awesome driving as always from Jack but managed to get my way through and control the race until the
Congratulations to everyone for awesome driving all weekend especially @harrison66.w for and over 7 seconds up the road, Jack Price] for and Brendan James] for 4th. Special well done to my good mate Sam Green Gomez who had some bad luck this weekend but still drove his socks off finishing 6th and stayed behind to watch me get my thanks buddy. Lastly well done to @kartdriver25 for top novice on a track he’s never been to before keep it going .
