Clay Pidgeon 2nd

We were back at Clay this weekend looking to clinch the championship. Qualifying went well, I was pole for most of the session but my last lap was compromised by a spinning kart and my fried Aiden Clarke just pipped me by 3 tenths. Heat one I started second on the wrong side of the grid but had a great start helped, by being smashed from the rear which gave me added momentum and I drove away from the competition. Pre final we went out despite the poor weather conditions to say it was wet would be an understatement! Off the start heading into "Billy's" I did a 360 but hang onto it but unfortunately that put me into second! I chased Aiden down and managed to get within 7 tenths off the win but 3 laps from the end they cancelled the race so I had to settle for second which was a shame as I was catching Aiden at 5 tenths per lap and I am sure I would have got the win. The final was cancelled which was a real shame as I am sure I would have taken it but unfortunately the race meeting was cancelled after a bit bike crashed, I hope the rider was ok. Thanks as always to my mum and dad who had to take the awning down in the pouring rain and also a massive thanks to my nan and grandad.
