Clay Pigeon R1

We decided to head down to Clay for their first race of the season. After a 5-hour trip we got on track on the Saturday early to shake down the kart. It was cold but dry and we showed great pace throughout the day on all tyres. Session 4 I hit the wall and bent everything, but dad fixed the kart to get me out for the final session which again we were quick. Sunday came the rain and wind! Heat one drove from 5 to second but lost concentration on the last lap dipping a tyre on the grass and then found the lake coming out of the esses P5 -26. Heat 2 started 10th and drove to First which would have put me in a decent quali for the final only, for the meeting to be called off due to high winds and rain. Poor mum and dad had to take the awning down in the pouring rain and wind which my grumpy dad was not pleased about. Next on the Whilton. Thanks to my dad, sponsors DPS and C1 Capital
