Kimbolton

Hot weekend at Kimbolton...showed Great pace on Friday. Saturday I want to forget after having an off track accident at the start of the morning resulting in Lots of cuts & bruises including a black eye my driving was in mums words ‘shocking’ resulting in me mucking up most of my heats starting me 10th for pre final Sunday was touch and go I was going to do as woke up sore and swollen from Saturdays incident but I was determined to show mum I could pull it back. In pre final I went from 10th to 4th setting me up for a good position in the final. My start in the final let me down as I didn’t get over to race line quick enough which pushed me wide for the first bend, I managed to recover lost positions but missed my opportunity to latch onto the front runners. Had some great battles along the way but had a little to much grip which bogged me down but managed to secure my final position finishing 5th, a little disappointed but loads learnt and plenty still to learn after my 2nd race off novice plates. Congratulations to the front runners they were super fast and thanks to @hunts_kart_club for a well organised weekend. Lastly a huge thanks to Lewis @sfrmotorsportuk who offered advise on setup and race lines throughout the weekend and let me pitch up with the junior team. Thanks to the junior team who came and watched every race cheering me on and big thanks to @joshagambar for helping me with my lines, I didn’t always do what you told me but I’ll keep on trying thanks to @ HKRC
