After a long trip to Wales we came away with not the best result 18th in the final. Heat 1 finished 12th, Heat 2 I had a shocker finishing 19th after a kart spun in front of me and I hit it damaging my steering and bent a track rod end. The start was a mess and the driving standards were very poor with 8 karts have penalties for drop downs. Heat 3 , started 19th and made up 3 places which put me 18th for the final and that is where I finished.
It's really hard to go to a track you never tested at and to expect a decent result. Dad did his best but we probably had the wrong gearing and wrong tyre pressures, the weekend was extra sad as my dog Darcy hurt her back and wont be coming racing with me for three months whilst she learn to walk again, I
will miss her loads.
