What an eye opener my first time to Mansell was! working with my new team we had the pace, starting 23 in my first heat I made steady progress finishing 16th which was a great result considering the grid was full of the best drivers in the country. 2nd heat I started 4th and slipped down to 12th and the last heat saw me taken out resulting in the ambulance being called and the session red flagged. Dad cobbled my car back together and I managed to restart the heat, driving with a bend front end, bad steering due to damage I still managed to stay on pace but it would drop me down to 23rd in the A final. The start in the final went well despite my car handling awful due to damage, into the esses and into the the wall thanks to a driver spinning out and regaining the track by taking me and my friend Max out, we worked together to get both of our cars untangled with each other but our race was done, nonetheless we drove on to finish what was a weekend of carnage. a week off then onto Clay.
