Heat 1 - started 4th got shunted from behind resulting in my bumper being bent into my tyre and rubbing a big hole in my bumper but still managed to keep up with the front runners only dropping 1 position.
Heat 2 - started 15th made a few hesitations on overtakes resulting in me only making it up to 11th.
Heat 3 - rain came down just before heat started but likely dad was able to throw some wet tyres on, started 17th found the grip and made my way through the grid finishing in 5th place giving me a great finals position of 4th.
Final - was a tricky one to call as although it had rained the track had begun to dry...lots of activity in the dummy grid with mechanics try to guess best setup. Luckily we called it right and I got a great start off the line taking me from 4th to 2nd before I reached Oblivion, I managed to pull away from the pack and by the end of lap one I was in the lead the rest was a blur of excitement but apparently according to the commentator I led a controlled race finishing 1.4 second in front and securing my first win off novice plates 🏆
