What a weekend, round 2 @ Whilton Mill, arrived Saturday for practise which was eventful, dad tried to set up our awning but it was winder and it got smashed. We were all set to go home as we knew it was going to be raining on the Sunday and we had no cover but luckily we found some space in the SFR senior's tent so set up there. Practise went well, dad played with gearing and my time tumbled before rain! Set up again for wet and the car felt amazing. Really nice meeting up with David Coulthard and Rob Smedley . Sunday heat one I finished 20th out of 33, heat two again, finished 20th and qualified 19th. The final saw one kart flip upside down, lots of crashes and false starts and the finally we got going.... a few overtakes and we got up to 12th and I was third fastest novice, a few moments later I was second fastest novice, I drove my socks off to finish second. Thank you to #SFRmotorsport, my mum and dad, uncle Jim and everyone that cheered me on.
