Whilton Mill Winter Cup

Well that is a wrap on our racing for 2022. In all honesty we have had more up’s than downs and Harry has come on massively and in the six months we have been in Minimax we, have had a fourth at Whilton and a sixth at PFI and missed out on a couple of wins. This weekend we struggled at Whilton with awful weather. Heat one we took a gamble and went out on slicks sadly, that was my call that sadly did not work. We were gridded last and went up two places on a damp freezing track. Heat 2 we started 8th on inters, spun out and drove from last to 6th before a DNF. There was no heat 3 which would have gridded us second. So onto the final we were gridded last and drove to 10th and would have got a little further had the final been longer. The kart was quick and set the second fastest time but time ran out for us. Next year see us staying in Minimax due to Harry's age and weight so, we will be travelling all round the country with the JKC and UKC which will be a great experience but we will miss our karting family who will be staying with MSA racing. The Croc kart has been fantastic and special thanks must go to Dan Stilp and all at Croc, John at Zip and our close friends the Higgs family who have always been supportive and great to hang out with. Thanks also to our sponsors C1 Capital and DPS
